I am a former US Army Ranger who re-entered the civilian world as a corporate manager for many unhappy years and then decided to find my true passions in life.  Currently that includes raising my children and artistic creativity.  I attended a culinary arts school and worked at several prominant restaurants in the Sacramento area.  When our second daughter was born we decided it would be best if one of us stayed home with her instead of letting someone else raise her.  I have continued in my quest for culinary adventure and am also pursuing artistic creativity in the form of writing a novel, writing and illustrating a childrens book and, playing guitar.
